Sell your books with the ISSS!

We know that buying new textbooks can be expensive, and that buyback options don’t return as much of a book’s value as you’d like. The ISSS’s Used Book Sale is a central buying and selling place for Science textbooks during Fall and Winter semesters. Formal Used Book Sale events happen in September and January, however, you may sell/buy anytime during office hours. 

 

How does it work (during the formal sale events)? 

Come by the ISSS Office (CCIS 1-150) to drop off textbooks. We will sell your textbooks at the price as chosen by you! After the formal sale event ends, you have one week to pickup your unsold books and cheques for your sold books. Ensure that you bring valid photo identification!

Outside of the formal sale event weeks, you will be e-transferred the monies we collect on your behalf.

 

Buying books? 

If you would like to buy books during our formal sale events, visit PCL lounge (by Remedy in CCIS) from Monday, January 15th to Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Outside of the formal sale events, come anytime during ISSS Office (CCIS 1-150) hours.

Purchases can be made by cash or e-transfer.
